A child is in hospital after being hit by a car in Hamilton.
Police were called to the crash on Memorial Drive at 3pm on Friday. The child was rushed to Waikato Hospital with moderate injuries.
Police have closed the road as they examine the scene and diversions are in place.
It's expected the road will be closed until 5:30pm.
