A 12-year-old girl missing from her home in Wellington has been found safe.
She disappeared from Wainuiomata on Sunday night and there had been concerns for her safety.
Police confirmed in a statement on Monday afternoon the girl had been found "safe and well".
"We'd like to thank the public for their assistance," the statement said. "The family have requested privacy."
