A driver has died in an accident near Auckland's Sylvia Park.
Police were called to the single-vehicle crash scene on Mt Wellington Highway near the Sylvia Park Shopping Centre at 10am on Friday.
While medical assistance was provided at the site, the driver died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit will investigate.
While that examination is underway, an entrance to the mall is closed.
