The public are being asked if they have seen a "dangerous" man, believed to be in the Waikato area.
Police are seeking assistance to find Questo King, who has a warrant out for his arrest.
King is considered dangerous and should not be approached, police said in a statement on Monday night.
He may have access to two vehicles, a black Ford Falcon with the registration number FKS702 and a grey Mazda Atenzam with the registration MAJ378.
Anyone who has seen King or has information on his whereabouts is urged to call 111 and quote file number 200131/2679.
