Poverty struggling with digital divide - report

A new Citizens Advice Bureau report has found that an increasingly digital world is leaving our most vulnerable behind.

"What we see is people who are struggling with poverty are being made more disadvantaged because they can't afford broadband," CEO Kerry Dalton told The AM Show on Thursday.

"They may not have a computer. When they are trying to interact with Government services, this is made really difficult for them because there are no other options but digital."
