Ministry of Health Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield gave another update on COVID-19 at 1pm on Wednesday.
He was joined by the Ministry of Education's Secretary of Education Iona Holsted.
It was confirmed that New Zealand now has 20 confirmed cases of coronavirus - a jump of eight from the previous day.
One of the cases was a student at Logan Park High School in Dunedin, which has now been closed until at least Friday.
