The Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield will provide another update on New Zealand's coronavirus outbreak on Friday at 1pm.
The press conference will be held at Ministry of Health headquarters in Wellington.
Dr Bloomfield will be joined by Foodstuffs South Island Ltd chief executive Steve Anderson, who will provide an update on the food supply chain.
At Thursday's Ministry of Health press conference, Dr Bloomfield announced there had been eight new cases of coronavirus in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in New Zealand to 28.
