The Ministry of Health and New Zealand Police have given the latest updates on the national response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Commissioner of Police Mike Bush provided updates on the national response, while the Ministry of Health's Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield released the latest information regarding the public's health.
Dr Bloomfield announced that New Zealand's COVID-19 case total has risen by 78, including five new probable cases, bringing the total to 283. Twenty-seven people have recovered from the virus.
