Three people have been arrested following a burglary attempt in Christchurch.
Police were called to a property on the corner of Pine Avenue and Caspian Street in New Brighton at 6.30pm on Monday, to reports of someone acting suspiciously.
When officers arrived three people were located, one inside the property, one in a nearby car and another on the roof.
A male was also assaulted, and the suspects have been charged with aggravated robbery and are due to appear in court.
