Auckland house cordoned off after petrol station incident

A house in New Lynn, Auckland has been cordoned off by police following an incident at a nearby petrol station on Thursday morning.

Newshub has been told by a witness that a man pulled up at a Mobil petrol station on Titirangi Rd at about 4:20am bleeding badly from his head. 

Emergency services came to the aid of the man, who was in a serious condition. He was transported by ambulance to Auckland City Hospital.

A car was later seen being towed away from the petrol station.

Police said they believed what happened at the petrol station was linked to an incident at the nearby address. Enquiries are underway to "establish what has taken place".
