A man has died after a workplace accident in Rosedale, Auckland on Monday night.
Emergency services were called to an address on Unity Dr at 7:35pm.
Initial reports were of serious injury however on Tuesday morning, police confirmed the man had died.
"Our thoughts and sympathies are with the man's family during what will be a very difficult and tragic time for them," a police spokesperson said.
Worksafe is investigating the accident. Machinery is thought to have been involved, Worksafe said in a statement on Monday.
