Three people have been injured following a dramatic car crash in east Auckland.
Police were called at 2:07am after a station wagon ploughed into a brick wall near the intersection of Jane Eyre Dr and Somerville Rd in the suburb of Somerville, narrowly missing a house.
A spokesperson said a passenger took themselves to hospital after the incident.
St John said two patients had moderate injuries and one serious.
