Coronavirus: No new COVID-19 cases for 24th day in a row

For the 24th day in a row, New Zealand hasn't recorded any new COVID-19 cases.

"Our total number of confirmed cases remains at 1154, which is the number we report to the World Health Organization," the Ministry of Health said in a statement on Monday afternoon.

The total number of confirmed and probable cases reported in Aotearoa since the virus' outbreak remains at 1504. 

The death toll remains at 22. No one is in hospital. 

The Marist College cluster is now considered closed, having had no new cases for 28 days since the last person came out of isolation. There are only five clusters left still being considered open.

The NZ COVID tracing app now has 557,000 registrations. 

"We continue to encourage as many people as possible to download and use the app - this will support our contact tracing efforts in level 1."

Nearly 49,000 businesses have registered to have QR codes for people to scan.

More than 435,000 have now lost their lives to COVID-19.
