The organisers for Auckland's Black Lives Matters protest are addressing the media ahead of Monday afternoon's "March for Solidarity".
The march is starting at Aotea Square and protesters are walking to the American Embassy.
The protest is in response to US man George Floyd, who died in Minneapolis after a police officer pinned him to the ground and knelt in his neck for nine minutes.
