The Ministry of Health's Director-General of Health, Dr Ashley Bloomfield, has provided the latest updates on New Zealand's COVID-19 cases and response during a press conference on Tuesday.
As of Tuesday, there are 10 active COVID-19 cases in the country. So far, the infected individuals are all New Zealanders who have returned from overseas.
Two new cases were announced on Tuesday - both men in their 20s - however an existing case has since recovered. The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 1165.
