A pedestrian has died following a collision with a truck in Glen Eden, Auckland, on Tuesday.
The person was fatally hit by the vehicle on Glenmall Place in the west Auckland suburb.
A section of Glendale Road, between Oates Road and West Coast Road, has been closed.
Auckland Transport has asked motorists to avoid the area or allow extra time for diversions and delays.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
