Napier man arrested after guns, cannabis and meth found

A Napier man has been arrested after a search of two properties in the city found methamphetamine, cannabis and guns.

Det Snr Sgt Dave de Lange says the arrest was made after a search of two Napier homes this morning, both of which are linked to the Mongrel Mob.

Officers found a sawn-off shotgun at one house and three rifles at the other, along with a large amount of cash and drugs.

A 53-year-old man was due to appear in Hastings District Court on drugs and firearms charges.
