One person has died in a boating accident in the South Island's Marlborough district.
Emergency services were called to Ōkiwi Bay just before 7:30pm on Sunday after reports of a boat crash.
A police statement said the victim died on the way to hospital.
Police said two others were injured and are working to determine the circumstances of the incident.
