Specialist fire investigators are at the scene of the charred remains of a blaze in Dunedin.
Eight Fire and Emergency crews were called to the blaze at a building on King Edward St and Rankeilor St just before 9pm on Saturday and continued to fight the fire through the night.
Two crews are still at the scene dampening down hot spots.
Part of the roof collapsed causing significant damage to the property.
Part of the firefighting effort was streamed live on YouTube.
Firefighters are unsure if anyone was in the building but say no one has been found.
