Seven people are injured after a multi-car crash in Hunterville, just north of Palmerston North.
The crash occurred on State Highway 1 on Sunday evening and involved a truck and three cars.
Three people have serious injuries, one has moderate injuries and three have minor injuries, a St John spokesperson confirmed.
Two of the serious patients are going to Palmerston North Hospital - one via helicopter and the other via ambulance. The remaining patients are going to Whanganui Hospital via ambulances.
Five ambulances and one helicopter were at the scene.
