Two female teenagers were assaulted in two separate instances in Porirua on Tuesday morning, and police are urging anyone who has information to come forward.
Police say the two incidents could be related.
The pair were assaulted around 7:50am and 8:20am in Mungavin Ave in Ranui, police say.
"The offender in this morning's incidents is described as being a male between 18-30 years old, 170-176cm tall, having brown skin, short black hair, and was wearing long baggy shorts, and a dark long-sleeved jersey," Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Middlemiss says.
Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the events or has any helpful information to call Kāpiti-Mana Police on 105.
