A man reported to be armed and behaving in a threatening manner in Christchurch has been arrested on Thursday morning.
The Armed Offenders Squad was called as a precaution to a property on Buckleys Rd in the suburb of Linwood a short time ago, a police spokesperson told Newshub.
Officers remain at the scene.
