As it happened: NZTA's update on Auckland Harbour Bridge's structural damage, commuter delays

The  New Zealand Transport Agency is holding stand-up on Saturday to reveal the extent of the structural damage to the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

On Friday strong winds caused the two trucks to fall over, damaging the bridge and causing huge disruption for Auckland motorists.

The NZTA warned the four lanes across the centre of Auckland's Harbour Bridge could be closed for weeks - leaving just two lanes open in each direction.

Waka Kotahi general manager of transport services Brett Gliddon will answer questions on the damage to the bridge at 2:30pm.

This livestream is now over. Watch the video for the stand-up.
