A 31-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of a 10-month-old baby earlier this month.
Poseidyn Hemopo-Pickering was taken from a house in Manurewa to Starship Children's Hospital but died the next day.
The arrested man will appear in the Manukau District Court on Monday charged with assaulting a child.
Police say further charges are likely.
