A vehicle belonging to a woman missing since last week has been found abandoned in a gorge.
Tauranga woman Rebekah Storey, 29, hasn't been seen since Wednesday, September 9, when she was reported missing.
The 29-year-old's white 2005 Suzuki Swift was found in Waioeka Gorge, between Ōpōtiki and Gisborne, this past Wednesday afternoon.
Police say her family have serious concerns for her welfare, and would like anyone with information to call them on 105, quoting file number 200909/2598.
