A person with a toy gun disrupted traffic on an Auckland motorway on Thursday morning.
Police received reports of a person with a firearm at a Clover Park address about 8:40am.
A police spokesperson told Newshub the vehicle the person was in then travelled onto State Highway 20. They were stopped by police when it was then established the weapon was fake.
The NZ Transport Agency says traffic flow is now back to normal.
