COVID-19 WOF extension ends on Saturday, Kiwis urged to get vehicles checked

The general manager of AA Motoring Services is concerned there's a bunch of unsafe vehicles of driving on New Zealand roads.

Any car with an expiring warrant of fitness at the beginning of the March COVID-19 lockdown was given an extension until October 10 to get the vehicle back up to compliance.

Jonathan Sergel told The AM Show the extension means there are potentially unsafe cars around.

He is urging Kiwis to get their vehicles checked before the cut off on Saturday.
