The missing skateboard of a Christchurch woman found dead has been found, and her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police said on Thursday they are grateful for the public's help understanding 21-year-old Rosalie Anderson-Hill's final movements.

Anderson-Hill died near Summit Rd in Heathcote Valley between Sunday and the early hours of Monday morning.

Police originally treated her death as unexplained, and asked for help locating her longboard. This has since been returned by a member of the public.

A police spokesperson told Newshub Anderson-Hill's death is not being treated as suspicious and will be referred to the coroner.

People who knew Anderson-Hill have been paying their tributes on social media.

A Facebook page called "Rosalie's love-filled memories" has been inundated with photographs and memories of the young woman, described as a "beautiful person" who "touched the souls of many".
