One person has died and two people are injured following a large house fire in Cockle Bay, Auckland.
Emergency services were called to the fire at Minerva Terrace at 6:50pm on Tuesday evening, police confirmed.
The two injured people have been taken to Middlemore Hospital.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson told Newshub six crews are at the scene.
"It was well-alight when we arrived," they said. The fire is now out.
A fire investigator is on their way to the scene.
Photos from the scene show the roof of the house has collapsed.
Police told Newshub they are assisting with cordons at the corner of Cook St and Rodney St.
