A person is in a critical condition after a serious assault in the eastern Bay of Plenty.
Emergency services were called to a Jellicoe Ct address just after 9:30pm on Saturday.
A police spokesperson said the victim was taken to hospital with critical injuries and enquiries are ongoing.
