Police will speak to the media following dozens of reports of a group of Wellington musicians allegedly drugging, sexually harassing, assaulting and raping people.
Detective Senior Sergeant John Van Den Heuvel will speak from Wellington's Central Police Station on Tuesday.
Police have already urged the public not to name the accused, saying it could compromise their investigation.
"While we understand the concerns of the community in regard to this matter we ask people to refrain from using social media to name individuals or post personal details."
They say the reports are being taken "extremely seriously".
