One person has been taken to hospital following a blaze at a Palmerston North house.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Heretaunga St at 1:30am on Wednesday.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson told Newshub the fire is thought to have started in the basement.
Four fire crews are battling the blaze.
