Firefighters on Saturday morning worked to put out a large blaze engulfing an apartment in Auckland.
Five Fire and Emergency crews were called to Hayden St in Freemans Bay just before 6am.
Firefighters soon had it under control, dampening hotspots.
A fire investigator has been called to the scene.
