One person has died and three people were injured after a serious crash in Canterbury earlier on Saturday.
Police were called to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Plaskett Road and Oxford Road in Fernside about 3:55pm.
The three injured people were taken to Christchurch Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed earlier but has reopened.
