Police are investigating a burglary of a luxury jewellery store in South Auckland.
The burglary was reported at Michael Hill Jewellers in Pukekohe around 2:30 am on Monday morning.
A police spokesperson says a number of items from the store were taken during the burglary.
Snapchat footage sent to Newshub shows two people running out of the store - one tripping - and returning to a white/silver vehicle, which hurriedly drove off.
The vehicle believed to be involved in this incident was later located in the wider Pukekohe area.
A police spokesperson said they are investigating this report including conducting forensic examinations.
