There has been a second firearms incident at an Auckland bar in the space of a week.
Police received reports of a person with a gun at a bar on Sale St shortly before midnight on Friday night.
A staff member seized the weapon and a person was arrested.
They have been charged with the unlawful possession of a firearm.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.
Last weekend, a man was arrested for allegedly firing a shot outside Dr Rudi's Rooftop bar in the Viaduct.
