Two drunk men were arrested on Monday after reportedly brandishing a fake gun and an air rifle at a Dunedin beach.
Armed police were called to the incident at Tomahawk Beah about 9:15 pm, after reports the men were directing the guns at members of the public.
A police spokeswoman confirmed to Newshub officers located the pair near the entrance to the beach.
The men were taken into custody and subsequently cautioned by police.
