A two-year-old child has died after an incident at the Napier Aquatic Centre on the weekend.
Police have confirmed to Newshub that the child died after being critically injured at the complex on Saturday morning.
The infant was rushed to Hastings Hospital before then being transported to Starship Hospital, where they died on Wednesday.
Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
