Fire crews have worked for hours to douse a two-storey Christchurch house that went up in flames overnight.
Emergency services were called to Park Tce near Hagley Park just after 1am on Sunday.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson says up to eight crews responded to the blaze.
There were no reported injuries.
