Firefighters are battling a blaze in Upper Hutt where two residential units have gone up in flames.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson told Newshub they were called to the scene in Pasadena Crescent at 11:30am on Saturday.
One person is being treated by paramedics as five fire crews work to control the blaze.
There are no reports of anyone trapped in the buildings.
