Two people have been seriously injured in a crash in the Horowhenua, south of the Ōhau Bridge.
"The crash, involving a motorcycle and a truck, occurred just south of the Ōhau Bridge about 12.45pm," said a police statement.
State Highway 1 near the bridge was closed but has since reopened, police said.
