A person has died in a serious crash in south-east Auckland after a vehicle collided with a house-removal truck.
The truck had been carrying a property when the fatal collision occurred on Stancombe Road in Flat Bush, a police spokesperson confirmed. Police arrived at the scene shortly after 10:30pm on Wednesday.
"Sadly, the sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene," the spokesperson said.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised and examined the scene last night.
Authorities are working to determine the circumstances of the crash and an investigation is underway.
