Coronavirus: Ministry of Health adds two new locations of interest

The Ministry of Health has announced two new locations of interest that are connected to the February COVID-19 community outbreak.

On Thursday they added Li'l Abners Takeaway and Choice Food Bar in Papatoetoe to the list.

One of New Zealand's new COVID-19 cases visited Li'l Abners Takeaway at 320 Great South Road between 1-1:20am on February 19.

Choice Food Bar at 336 Great South Road was also visited between 1:15-1:20am on February 19.

The Ministry of Health said anyone who visited these locations at the same time is considered a casual-plus contact.

"Please stay at home, get tested ASAP and call Healthline on 0800 358 5453," it advises.

"Remain at home until you receive a negative test result. Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days from your exposure. If symptoms develop after your first negative result, get another test immediately and stay at home until a negative test result is received."

Other locations of interest which have already been reported include Kmart Botany and Dark Vapes East Tamaki, which were visited at various times on February 19 and 20.
