Police arrest Northland Black Power members, recover 2 guns

Three Black Power members have been arrested in Northland with police also seizing two guns.

The three men, all wanted on outstanding matters, were arrested during a search warrant and are facing firearms-related charges. 

One of the men, a 24-year-old, was wanted for multiple offences including vehicle theft and burglary. Another 32-year-old was wanted for breaching parole conditions, both were located and arrested at an address in Whangārei. 

Police found the third man, a 31-year-old, also wanted for breaching parole, in Whananāki . 

The trio will appear in Whangārei District Court on Friday.
