The driver of a car which collided with a truck in Taranaki on Tuesday night has died.
Emergency services rushed to the serious two-vehicle crash at about 5:20pm on Tuesday on South Rd, Manutahi, south Taranaki between Upper Manutahi Rd and Ball Rd.
Early indications suggested there had been injuries and hours later police confirmed the driver of the car had died.
An investigation is now underway into the circumstances of the crash.
