A COVID-19 case linked to the border has put Aucklanders on edge just as the city came out of an alert level 3 lockdown.

The Air New Zealand crew member returned a positive test result on Sunday after being tested the previous day during routine testing.

Location of interest

There is currently one location of interest linked to this case - the Auckland Airport Countdown on March 3 between 12:07pm and 1:22pm.

If people who visited this supermarket begin to feel unwell, they should contact Healthline on 0800 358 5454, get tested, and stay at home until a negative test result is received. A list of testing centres in Auckland is available here.

The Ministry of Health says the initial public health assessment indicates there is a low risk to the public since Auckland was in lockdown when the case visited the supermarket.

Latest locations of interest for Auckland February cases

There are several locations of interest linked to Auckland's February cluster.

There are 15 cases in this group after a mother and daughter from Papatoetoe were the first to test positive for COVID-19.

As new positive cases linked to this cluster continued to roll in, the locations of interest and the advice for people who had visited them were constantly being updated.

Just one casual plus contact linked to City Fitness is yet to be tested, and the Ministry of Health says health staff are working with police to find this person.
