The COVID-19 Response Minister and Director-General of Health will provide Wednesday's COVID-19 update.
Chris Hipkins and Dr Ashley Bloomfield will address reporters from the Beehive after a contact of Monday's positive COVID-19 case returned a "weak positive" test.
It's expected the pair will also provide an update on New Zealand's vaccination rollout.
