A large scrub fire has broken out in Northland's Tutukaka.
Emergency services were called to the Kowharewa Bay area just before midday on Thursday to tackle the blaze.
Fire and Emergency told Newshub four helicopters and six fire engines were working to put out the fire.
No properties are at risk and there are no injuries.
