A man found hurt after an incident that sparked a homicide investigation in Pukekohe earlier this week has died, police said on Saturday.
The critically injured man on electronic bail was found at an address on McNally Rd on Wednesday morning, and transported to Middlemore Hospital. Police were there conducting a bail check.
A woman's body was also found at the scene, prompting a homicide investigation.
"The police investigation into the incident is ongoing," police said in a statement.
Both deaths have been referred to the Coroner.
Police on Wednesday said they were not seeking anyone else in relation to the matter.
