A man has died after his moped scooter collided with the rear of a parked truck in Gisborne overnight.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Anzac St shortly after 10pm on Saturday.
Police said the 34-year-old man was critically injured and taken to hospital, where he later died.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
